In the world of youth athletics, CHAMPIONS ARE MADE IN THE SUMMER! The value of summer conditioning & training in preparation for a winning season cannot be emphasized enough. Summer workouts are also a great way to meet people, have fun, and get in great shape. Regardless of your experience or speed, this camp will have a group for you to train with and you are welcome to join us at any point throughout the summer.
Train with other CCS students, five days a week, all summer long
Structured training guided by experienced coaches and varsity athletes
Learn the basics of distance running
Personalized group workouts based on training history and ability
Strength and stretching programs designed to help all athletes: develop core muscle strength, prevent injury, & increase speed
Fun games, theme days, & group socials
Get in excellent shape for other sports (soccer, swimming, basketball, etc)
DATES: June 3rd thru July 26th
DAYS: Monday thru Friday
TIME: 7:00am to 8:30am
WHO: Rising 6th to 12th grade boys & girls

Here is what you will need to bring:
Comfortable running/exercise attire. Usually, a pair of nylon shorts (i.e. Nike shorts) and a t-shirt work great.
Good running shoes. If you need help picking out good shoes, let us know.
Water bottle with your name on it. Though the mornings are cooler, you need to bring a filled water bottle.
Optional: Digital watch with a stopwatch feature. It doesn't have to be expensive. Many of our workouts are time-based runs (i.e. 30-minutes easy or 20 minutes out and back).
